Mathias Ericsson, CEO of CloudMe, said, “Internet is rapidly becoming the reason to use a computer and files are now also following users to the cloud. The upside of having all your files in the cloud is constant access, but also being able to share content on the go. With more and more connected devices – a common meeting point for them becomes necessary – that is what we are offering with our cloud storage. Naturally we are very proud of being selected by Red Herring as a winner, it is important for our team and a confirmation that we are on the right path internationally.”

Continue on our journey with us! Keep those comments and feedback coming. We’ve only just begun. Get ready for some amazing feature improvements due to be released within the next year. What are your thoughts on our progress so far? We’d love to hear from you in the comments below!

Back to the Future!

Streets of San Francisco

Recently I was visiting the bay area for meetings and exhibitions. And it really did strike me how everybody now is talking about cloud solutions as the next big thing, and how everything is going to be cloud based in the future. Gartner Group predicts cloud related services and investments to be about half the total investment spent in IT for the years to come.

Then I went back home and realized that what everybody is talking about, we are already using! With the CloudMe service you are already in the forefront of technology. You are using the cloud in the way that most people still are just beginning to talk about as something that belongs to the future development of IT.

But the journey doesn´t stop here. Together we will continue to develop CloudMe even further. So keep on sending us your ideas on how to improve the service. And we will add improvements to the future cloud based solution, already in use today!

The Forecast for 2012: It’s getting cloudy… And we love it!

By choosing to use our service to share your memories and experiences with friends and family you are not only giving us your recognition, you are also being a part of the greatest internet trend there is, Cloud Computing.

We love it when you share with us your ideas for improvement of our CloudMe service. As a company in the forefront of technology we are constantly looking for influences from everywhere we can find it. That is also why we will be closely monitoring many of the most important exhibitions and seminars in 2012.

If you are interested we would really like to invite you in to all of this. All you have to do is keep coming back to this blog and we will give you all the latest geek talk and user oriented stuff.  Still we can not cover everything.
