Statement regarding Inception and Cloud Atlas

Important statement to all CloudMe users

If you have read about the espionage campaign exposed by Blue Coat Labs, that leveraged CloudMe to store stolen data, it does not affect any normal accounts. The trojan is spread through emails and other channels, and is not spread through CloudMe. Once installed it uploads data to accounts the attackers have created in advance. This is similar to any other user uploading data to their own account.

Up to this date is has focused on specific regions and types of people, at top positions like financing industry, diplomats and military.

As a CloudMe user this means that you have nothing to worry about, your account is safe. CloudMe is also actively monitoring accounts used by the people behind Inception and permanently deleting such accounts, since they are violating our terms of service. The reason we remove these accounts are to help affected people and do what we can to fight crime.
